Mike Barratt is a Director at Rathmore Consulting with over 20 years industry experience, specialising in quantity surveying, commercial management, cost management, contracts management, and dispute resolution advisory services.

Mike is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a RICS Registered Expert Witness and a RICS Accredited Mediator. He also holds academic qualifications in Quantity Surveying and Construction Law from the University of Salford in the United Kingdom.

Having worked on diverse high profile infrastructure, building, civil engineering, oil and gas, and utility projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, Mike regularly advises our clients on industry related commercial, contractual and quantum matters, including estimating, quantification, remeasurement, variations, and claims associated with prolongation, disruption, acceleration, preliminaries thickening, recovery of head office overheads, escalation, finance and interest charges, and all other cost related claims.
